Like lefthanded/ mirror knitting. For right-handed knitting could say the WS is facing you. When I went back and read the written out instructions (and I'm a charts girl, armed with 8 highlighters so I can color-code) I found my answer, but I think it does raise the question for when written instructions and charts aren't available. I'm looking forward to seeing how you work it out!TheLadyJAKnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9134334591698023754.post-91266049811375242902022-12-21T09:40:39.643-08:002022-12-21T09:40:39.643-08:00Thank you !!!!Thank you !!!!Curious Knitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09798024153319039907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9134334591698023754.post-82063279256693149452022-12-21T09:39:45.363-08:002022-12-21T09:39:45.363-08:00Yes exactly!! Or, if only we would all embrace knitting from left to right, which I do all the time, but I know I'd be shouting into the wind on that one.

You bring up an excellent point, and I realized I needed to clarify the language on that part of the post, so I have done so. I could have gone either way and laid out the written instructions inside the columns from right to left -- the solution here is not obvious, and I might still play around some more with the order. But so far the folks who have taken this for a test drive adapt pretty quickly. Give it a try and keep me posted how it goes!Curious Knitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09798024153319039907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9134334591698023754.post-86893904183930418032022-12-20T13:44:04.800-08:002022-12-20T13:44:04.800-08:00Hi! The one sticky thing for me, and I guess I could try and read your way with a way I'm more used to next to it, but... I know to read right to left for charts. But in row 1, third cell (the first one that encompasses more than one stitch) you write K1, K2tog. If I'm reading each direction from the beginning of the row is it K1, P1, K2tog, K1? Or are we looking at each cell as it's own thing, and I K1, P1, K1, K2tog? Kind of a 'read from the right, but read each individual cell left to right'. Sigh, if only we all read Hebrew ;-)TheLadyJAKnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9134334591698023754.post-91327718741545307382022-12-20T13:28:14.484-08:002022-12-20T13:28:14.484-08:00Um, wow. 😳 I think that is absolutely stupendous....Um, wow. 😳 I think that is absolutely stupendous.
